PetsWell Pantry is a proud supporter of Tulsa SPCA. It is the mission of PetsWell to provide fresh, healthy foods for the fur members of every family that will prevent illnesses and give them a healthy lifestyle. The owner and staff are all passionate about pets and their health, and that is why we find supporting the Tulsa SPCA an important part of our existence.
The SPCA was started in New York in 1866. It was the dreams and visions that every cat and dog on this planet receive food, health care, shelter, and most of all, love of a human. Since 1913, with a grant supplied by the New York SPCA, the Tulsa SPCA was started. Here at PetsWell, we have worked hard to meet those dreams and fulfill those visions to thousands and thousands of animals in this area.
In addition to donating our time, we are excited to sponsor events like the Dirty Dog Run that was held at ORU in June with the theme of “Life Without Limits.” We had fun activities for every age and families enjoyed food, music, and vendor booths along with their fur babies.
We are also proud to support other organizations with the same goal of making the lives of every cat and dog better such as www.thebridgesfound.org. This non-profit organization serves those individuals with developmental disabilities by providing them vocational training that they can use to fulfill employment opportunities they help them locate. They provide community resources, education, and living skills as well for these individuals so that they can become productive citizens in the community.
It is our belief here at PetsWell, that by contributing to and supporting organizations like the Tulsa SPCA and The Bridge Foundation, we are making the world a little better place. And, we want to gain more people that have those same beliefs as we do!
So, for every new 500 likes we get on our Facebook Page, we will give a $50 donation to the Tulsa SPCA. We believe that no cat or dog should ever be abandoned, abused, or neglected. The more people we can get on board with us, no matter how little amount of time or financial support is offered, will help the Tulsa SPCA reduce the number of cats and dogs that aren’t in a loving home with humans.
